Cancellation & Refund Policy

Standard reservations

  • 72+ hours before pickup — full refund of deposit and any balance already paid. Cancel online from your reservation page or by replying to your confirmation email.
  • 24–72 hours before pickup — deposit is non-refundable; any balance paid is refunded.
  • Less than 24 hours before pickup — cancellations are handled by dispatch on a case-by-case basis. Call us as soon as you know.

Wedding-day, prom, and quinceañera

These “event” reservations have stricter cancellation windows stated in your master rental contract — typically 30 days for a full refund, with deposits forfeited inside that window. Reschedules within 60 days of the event are accommodated when our calendar allows.

Self-drive security hold

The refundable security hold ($2,500–$5,000 depending on the vehicle) is released within 5 business days of a clean return inspection. The hold is not a damage waiver. Damage discovered at return is captured against the hold per the schedule in your master contract; the remainder is voided.

How refunds are processed

Refunds are credited to the original payment method via Stripe and typically post within 5–10 business days. Texas Motor Vehicle Rental Tax already remitted to the State of Texas on completed self-drive rentals is non-refundable per Texas Comptroller rule.

Acts of God / weather

If a hurricane, flood, or other event outside our control prevents us from providing the reserved vehicle, we will offer a full refund or a reschedule at no charge. If you cancel due to weather but we are still able to operate, the standard policy applies.
